Lease a Home
Leasing a home is ideal for many reasons including short and long term flexibility, less money needed upfront and the possibility of finding a rental home in a neighborhood that might be unattainable through purchase.
Finding a home to lease through a broker is slightly different in that you have access to all rentals in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), you will receive homes by email that match what you are looking for specifically and there is a broker fee due at lease signing.
MLS Homes for Rent - There are over 800 homes listed for rent in the MLS and the list continues to grow daily. We will look through all of the available homes and create a list of homes that best match exactly what you are looking for.
Email Updates - In addition to the initial list of rentals, you will also receive email updates once a new rental is put on the market, the lease price changes or new photos are added (first time only). We will also contact you about rentals we locate outside of the MLS and schedule appointments to view these rentals for you. (Rentals found outside of the MLS are still subject to the broker fee listed below.)
About the Broker Fee - The broker fee is typically equal to one month’s rent and is used to compensate the agents and agencies involved in the leasing of a home. If a rental home is found in the MLS, for example, you would need to have the first month’s rent, security deposit (typically in the amount of 1 or 2 months rent), any pet deposit (if applicable) and the broker fee (usually the same amount as one month’s rent) in separate checks at lease contract signing.
